Responding to Fire Emergencies in Office Environments

This course of learning has been designed to give instructional guidance in fulfilling the required roles to plan for, prevent and respond to potential fire and evacuation emergencies in corporate office buildings. This is a learning course for persons who are not directly working in residential aged care but still require annual training in Emergency Preparedness. This course provides a competency assessment for all staff. 

It is expected that all staff completing this course will complete competency-based training in the use of their site-specific emergency management plan and the expected roles. As a mandatory course element, an annual competency rate of 100% is expected.

This competency assessment will be undertaken by yourself without the aid of others or cheat sheets in accordance with APRHA Professional Code of Conduct for Nurses.
