Human resources is the process of people management. Providing aged care services is all about people supporting people. Providers must have robust human resources systems in place to provide optimal service to the people they support.
Aged Care Quality Standard 7 requires aged care service providers to ensure they maintain a qualified and skilled workforce in all areas of service provision. This ensures the organisation can deliver safe, respectful, appropriate and high quality care and support to consumers and maintain supportive, positive workplaces for their staff.
