Welcome to the Working Confidently with PEG Tubes (Disability Series) module.
Support workers may be required to assist with personal care for a participant who has a PEG (Percutaneous Endoscopic Gastrostomy) tube.
This module provides a basic introduction to PEG tubes theory and must be accompanied by a physical demonstration of a participant’s specific equipment and its use.
Information in this module should also be read in conjunction with your organisation’s policies and procedures.
